- Who does Syzygy work with?
- Owner-led small and mid-sized businesses. Most of our clients are operating companies such as manufacturers, suppliers, and service businesses across Michigan and the Midwest, plus remote clients nationwide. They want measurable improvements in how they operate, not experiments.
- What does "leads with AI" mean?
- We start every engagement by asking where AI can produce the highest return in how you operate, and we use AI heavily in our own work. But we recommend whatever gets the result. Sometimes that is off-the-shelf software, a process change, or a small integration rather than a custom model.
- Where is Syzygy located, and do you work remotely?
- Syzygy is based in Michigan. We work on-site with companies across Michigan and the Midwest, and remotely with clients anywhere in the United States.
- How does an engagement start?
- With a Discovery Audit that takes 2–4 weeks and ends in a prioritized roadmap. From there most clients move into Design and Prototype (4–6 weeks) to test the highest-return idea on real work, then Build and Implement (8–12 weeks) to put it into production.
- How long does an AI audit take?
- Two to four weeks. It includes stakeholder interviews, workflow and process analysis, a review of your data and technology stack, and a written ROI opportunity analysis with a 90-day roadmap.
- How much does an AI audit cost?
- AI Audit & Prototyping engagements start at $3,000 and typically take two to four weeks. The Design and Prototype phase that follows typically runs $6,000–$8,000 over four to six weeks, and every engagement is quoted individually after an intro call.
- Do you work with companies that have no IT staff?
- Yes. Most of our clients do not have an internal technology team. We handle the technical work, document everything, train your people, and can stay on as an ongoing partner or fractional technology lead afterward.
